Dictionary Review Committee

Committee Objective

Whether paper or electronic, the dictionary is a primary tool of translators and interpreters. The Dictionary Review Committee was established to inform and advise ATA members about these resources.

The Dictionary Review Committee is asked to do the following:

• track publication of language and specialty dictionaries that would be useful to translators and interpreters;
• arrange for appropriate experts to evaluate and write critical reviews of these dictionaries; and
• submit review articles suitable in form, content, and style for publication in The ATA Chronicle.
