ATA News Update: Association Tops 10,000 Members

I am very pleased to announce ATA membership topped 10,000 on September 14, 2007! In 2006, ATA finished with a then record 9,787 members.

Heartfelt thanks to all ATA members and especially to our volunteers and staff for helping us reach this historic mark. We will have more news about the 10,000-member mark in The ATA Chronicle and at the ATA 48th Annual Conference in San Francisco (October 31- November 3).

Thanks again for being a part of the American Translators Association.
