National Survey to Define the Healthcare Interpreter Profession
The Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters' (CCHI) mission is to develop and administer a national, valid, credible, vendor-neutral certification program for healthcare interpreters. CCHI is currently conducting the job task analysis (JTA) that will create a current definition of the healthcare interpreting profession through an unbiased, scientific study. For the definition of the profession to be truthful and without bias, it must come from the profession itself. CCHI is asking for your perspective on the skills and knowledge critical for healthcare interpreters. If you are an interpreter, interpreter supervisor/manager, or interpreter trainer, click CCHI Survey to complete this survey and then send the link to your colleagues to complete.
