- Beacons 10! Members of the ATA Literary Division have collaborated in an online publication of collected literary translations, under the direction of Editor Michele McKay Aynesworth. This issue features a broad collection of works from Europe and Latin America, and a good bit from Asia. Beacons was first published in 1992, and what started out as a one-time project quickly became a tradition. Click Beacons 10 to begin reading now.

Have you found a way to make your business run smoothly? Have you mastered terminology in a subject where everyone else struggles? Do you know something most other translators and interpreters don't know? Then share your experience through a presentation at the ATA 49th Annual Conference in Orlando, FL (November 5-8, 2008). It’s easy to submit a presentation proposal online or by mail. But hurry! The submission deadline is March 14. Click Proposal for ATA Conference Presentation to learn more.
