Welcome to the ATA 48th Annual Conference!
The American Translators Association invites all conference attendees to spend Halloween with colleagues and friends. Be our guest for a generous selection of hors d'oeuvres, carving stations, and a hosted bar.
Halloween costumes are welcome but not required!
Don't forget to bring your Two Red Tickets given to you at registration. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Wake up, breathe, gather strength
through yoga, connect with energy
through Qi Gong, and have some
fun with dance.
ATA Member Stephanie
Tramdack Cash will lead
exercises to help translators
with what you need most—targeted relaxation and
stretching just where it feels
best. She will also give special
attention to those poor
neglected feet, and get some
fun going through ballet and
modern dance.
Come dressed to work out—no shoes necessary—and bring a mat or large towel. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Round Robin Tennis Tournament
Thursday, 4:30-6:30pm
If you love to play tennis, here's your chance to play your colleagues and friends in a mixed, partner-rotating, single session tennis event!
Men and women of all ages and tennis experience can join us on the courts. The fee includes transportation between the conference hotel and the tennis complex as well as all court fees.
All you need to bring is a racquet, your tennis shoes, and tennis attire.
You will be playing for the coveted ATA tennis trophy in your category, along with other prizes.

Closing Dance Party

Dance to the live music of Pragandaia, featuring Dandara, and mingle in a festive atmosphere as the 48th Annual Conference comes to an end. This event is coordinated by ATA member Alzi Platts.

Pragandaia is a ten-piece, high-energy dance band formed of world-class Brazilian musicians and fronted by the dynamic singer Dandara. Dandara's deep, spicy singing voice and her vibrant dance and performance style make her a sensation on stage. Playing a mixture of rhythms from Brazil, the Caribbean, Africa, and Cuba, Pragandaia makes it impossible to stand still during their performance!
