Scrabble® is the Perfect Game for Fellow Wordsmiths!
Exercise your knowledge of terminology in this open round of Polyglot Scrabble, organized with the assistance of the local Scrabble Club.
Polyglot Scrabble is played on an ordinary English-language board, but each word can be in a different language and is scored according to the official tile values for that language. Special Polyglot Scrabble rules were developed specifically for this event by John Chew, the director of the Toronto Scrabble Club, when this event took place for the first time in 2004.
Prizes are awarded to the highest-scoring game and to the most spectacular play. Come enjoy an evening of fun and games with your colleagues. Open to all ATA conference attendees.
