Wednesday, November 4

Historic Charleston (9 hours). Tour Charleston, South Carolina, a port city steeped in romantic history. Charleston has barely changed since its founding in 1670. Its charm and beauty have long proven irresistible. The tour will include a visit to numerous places of interest, including the Four Corners of Law, St. Michael's Church and the Nathaniel Russell House. ($76 per person includes transportation, lunch, and guide) (Bus trip to Charleston is two hours)

Thursday, November 5

Hilton Head Island (3 hours). Explore Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The tour includes a lecture on Hilton Head Island's history, and stops at several historical sites such as Fort Mitchell. Also included, Sea Pines Plantation where Harbour Town is located. Reminiscent of a Mediterranean seaside village, Harbour Town has a unique complex of boutiques and restaurants. Free time will be given for a leisurely stroll around the picturesque harbor. ($18 per person includes transportation and guide)

Friday, November 6

Beaufort (6 hours). Visit Beaufort, South Carolina, the "Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands." Beaufort's origins date back to 1710 when Barbadian planters, English indentured servants, and religious dissenters arrived to seek new lives. The entire downtown area of the city is on the National Historic Register and many homes have been designated as National Historic Landmarks for federal preservation. Enjoy lunch and a brief stroll around the waterfront park and Main Street. ($46 per person includes transportation, lunch, and guide)

Saturday, November 7

Hilton Head Island (3 hours). Explore Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Savannah (6 hours). This southern waterfront city, Savannah, Georgia, beckons visitors to discover its cobblestone streets, antebellum homes, and churches. The tour includes 19th century historical homes from Savannah's Golden Age, and several of the famous garden squares. Enjoy lunch in one of Savannah's finest restaurants. Visit River Street where old cotton warehouses have been turned into charming shops, restaurants, and museums. ($49 per person includes transportation, lunch, and guide) (Bus trip to Savannah is 45 minutes)
