Attendees are encouraged to participate actively in the discussion, which may cover such topics as developing editorial policy statements, encouraging original submissions, obtaining permission for reprints, managing production tasks, soliciting advertising, using layout tools and techniques, and publishing on the Web. Participants should bring and distribute 30 copies of their recent association publications (not necessarily from the same issue) and information about their publication policies on advertising, subscriptions, circulation figures, and production costs for a planned survey.
