Welcome Reception

Welcome to the ATA 45th Annual Conference!
The American Translators Association invites all conference attendees to enjoy an evening with colleagues and friends. Be our guest for a generous selection of hors d'oeuvres, carving stations, and a hosted bar. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Networking Session
Thursday, 5:30-6:30pm

Take of advantage of this opportunity to meet company owners, seasoned professionals, and newcomers in a relaxed atmosphere. The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) is co-hosting this event and will provide a special gift for all attendees. Members of ATIO have been invited to join ATA conference attendees for a unique networking experience. Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar are available. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Book Splash
Thursday, 8-9pm

A Special Event to Celebrate Books and the People Who Make Them.
Attendees can have the opportunity to browse among books, chat with authors, translators, editors, and publishers, while enjoying the ambiance of the world of books and those who love them. If you are interested in being a participant at the Book Splash, please complete the Book Splash Registration Form.

Round Robin Tennis Tournament
Friday, 4-6:30pm

If you love to play tennis, here's your chance to mix it up with colleagues and friends! Players of all ages, fitness levels, and genders can join us on indoor courts at the Mayfair Lakeshore Racquet and Fitness Club. The fee includes transportation between the conference hotel and the club. All you need to bring is a racket, your tennis shoes, and tennis attire. Ticket required. Scrabble® Social
Friday, 8-9:30pm

Scrabble is the Perfect Game for Fellow Wordsmiths! Exercise your knowledge of terminology in this open round of Scrabble®. Come enjoy an evening of fun and games with your colleagues. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Certification Exams
Saturday, 8:30-11:30am
Saturday, 1:30-4:30pm

Exam sittings will be offered twice on Saturday. Eligibility and Pre-registration is required. To learn more about ATA Certification and to obtain the necessary Eligibility Requirements Form and Exam Registration Form, visit www.atanet.org/certification.

Closing Reception
Saturday, 6-7:30pm

A cash bar will be available. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

It's time to CELEBRATE!
Dance to the hot Latin music of DominiCanada, a 12-piece band that will showcase the powerful rhythms of merengue and salsa. Dance instructors will also be on hand and a cash bar will be available. Open to all ATA conference attendees.
