Yoga Stretches for Translators
Thursday-Saturday, 6-6:45am

Start your day by learning simple techniques for making your day more energized, organized, and productive from the very start. ATA Member Jude Lupinetti will teach basic asanas for the prevention of repetitive strain injury and three pranayama exercises for centering the mind and calming the body.

Come dressed to work out and bring a mat or large towel. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Round Robin Tennis Tournament
Thursday, 4-6:30pm

If you love to play tennis, here's your chance to play your colleagues and friends in a mixed, partner-rotating, single session tennis event! Men and women of all ages and tennis experience can join us on the beautiful indoor courts of the Lloyd Nordstrom Tennis Center of the University of Washington. The center is one of the Northwest's most modern indoor tennis facilities and was selected by the USTA's Technical Committee as one of the outstanding tennis facilities for 1989.

The fee includes transportation between the conference hotel and the club and all court fees. All you need to bring is a racket, your tennis shoes, and tennis attire. You will be playing for the coveted ATA tennis trophy in your category, along with other prizes. For additional information, contact Rob Croese at rcroese@sbcglobal.net.

Talent Show 2005
Thursday, 9-10:30pm

The ATA will provide a stage for conference attendees to display their artistic talents and connect with colleagues through outrageous fun! You are invited to sing, dance, act silly, and, above all, have fun while providing entertainment and possibly winning a prize.

Talent Show contestants can provide performances in the categories of Vocal, Instrumental, Dance, or Other, and prizes will be awarded to the best in each category and to the winner of the audience vote.

If you wish to participate, please review and complete the Talent Show 2005 Application by October 7.

Scrabble® Social
Friday, 8-9:30pm

Scrabble is the Perfect Game for Fellow Wordsmiths! Exercise your knowledge of terminology in this open round of Scrabble®. Come enjoy an evening of fun and games with your colleagues. Open to all ATA conference attendees.

Certification Exam
Saturday, 8:30-11:30am

An exam sitting will be offered on Saturday. Eligibility and Pre-registration is required. To learn more about ATA Certification and to obtain the necessary Eligibility Requirements Form and Exam Registration Form, visit www.atanet.org/certification.
