ATA Membership Status Key

Active
Individual ATA member, who is a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident and has passed an ATA certification exam or was approved by active membership review.

Associate
An individual ATA member.

Charter
An original ATA Member.

Corresponding
The same as Active membership except the individual is not a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.

Honorary
An individual ATA member who has distinguished him/herself in the translation and interpretation professions and has been recognized by the ATA Board of Directors for the distinguished service.
