Chris Durban

• Chris Durban, MITI, SFT, is a freelance translator (French to English) based in Paris, France, where she works with Robert Blake, focusing on publication-level texts for the foreign shareholders, customers, and partners of a range of French corporations and institutions.

• Chris has coordinated six training days for financial translators in conjunction with the Paris Bourse (now Euronext Paris), and is a founding member of Rencontres Traduction Financière, which recently organized a half-day session on producing annual reports in English (October 2000). She writes a client education column called "The Onionskin" for ITI Bulletin (UK), and is co-author, with Eugene Seidel, of the Fire Ant & Worker Bee advice column in Translation Journal (http://www.accurapid.com/journal/).
