Alicia María González Requejo

• Alicia María González Requejo is a global analyst and chief control officer of Futures & Options as well as associate at J.P. MorganChase. She has bachelor's degrees in International Business and Finance from both Icade University (Spain) and the École Supérieure de Commerce de Reims (France). She is currently working on a degree in Sociology through the Open University in Spain. She has taught English-to-Spanish Financial/ Commercial Translation in the NYU Translation Certificate online program.

• Alicia's international background and specialization in International Economics have given her a vision that is uniquely multifaceted. Firmly convinced that the academic world and corporate experience are not necessarily mutually exclusive, she has sought to enhance and enrich both. By intellectually challenging the geostrategies of global economics and finance by virtue of her experience grounded in the corporate world, and by applying a macrocosmic conceptual view to the daily operations of economics and corporate finance, she has sought to reach a more profound comprehension of both. She invites us to think more critically, and on many levels, about the relations established by an interaction of the two.
