Accounting and Finance Terminology for the 21st Century

• This session will concentrate on terminology and changes taking place in the corporate world which we read about in the newspapers daily. Various forms of business organizations will be discussed, as well as terminology for balance sheets and income statements relative to mergers and acquisitions and public company reporting requirements. Terms typically used in business contracts and banking agreements will be reviewed. Nuances of similar terms will be discussed. Finally, some basics of accounting and understanding balance sheet and income statement ratios will be covered.
