Alicia Agnese
Alicia Agnese is a Spanish translator with 20 years of experience in legal, business, financial, and technical translation, both in Argentina and the U.S. An ATA member since 1982, she is accredited in English to Spanish, and holds an undergraduate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Argentina. She also holds an M.S. in Applied Linguistics and a Certificate of Proficiency in Translation for English>Spanish from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
A frequent presenter at ATA Conferences and other T&I Symposia, she co-founded the popular Spanish Forum in 1993. Former lecturer of translation courses at Georgetown University, George Mason University, and USDA Graduate School, she now designs Spanish translation workshops for educational institutions and associations nationwide.
