Financial Geostrategy
Globalization and complexity: two words that define the current financial panorama. In this context, it is more important than ever to coordinate our efforts to understand the financial world. Nevertheless, the two key players and disciplines that can bring clarity to this arena are not sufficiently connected: the corporate world and academic thought have for the most part positioned themselves as enemies rather than partners. Working in the corporate world does not provide us with the necessary tools to achieve a strong grip on the complexities of globalization. Thought does not imply being unable to play an economic role. Therefore, what can be better positioned to shed light on critical financial issues than the practice of business combined with a deep-thinking academic approach? Only in this manner will we be able to read through history and understand thoroughly our role in financial economy. Financial Geostrategy refers then to Financial Lucidity.
This lecture is designed to present some of the international financial issues from a global and critical standpoint. Through this new understanding of the financial world we will be able to approach economics, history, translation and other subjects with a different perspective.
