Marian Greenfield
Translation industry consultant, freelance translator, JP Morgan associate and manager of Translation, as well as adjunct associate professor of Translation at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies, Marian Greenfield has translated in New York's Financial District for 20 years, 19 of them at Morgan.
Active at the national and local levels, Marian is an ATA director, has been a member of its Chapters Committee, chair of ATA's Membership Rights and Benefits Committee, and currently chairs its Professional Development Committee. She is the co-organizer of this Financial Translation Conference.
Marian served the New York Circle of Translators as president, treasurer, and co-chair of the ATA East Coast Regional Conference Organizing Committee.
Among her contributions to the ATA Chronicle, Marian has written numerous business and finance dictionary reviews and a three-part series on business acronyms and abbreviations.
