Jean-Michel Savre has been managing director of Euronext US, in charge of its New York office, since the beginning of 1999.

In addition to the general representation of Euronext in the US, he is responsible for marketing Euronext products to US intermediaries and investors and for connecting new members to the exchange.

Prior to joining the US Euronext office, Jean-Michel had been responsible for developing futures and options for MATIF SA, subsequently a wholly-owned subsidiary of ParisBourse SBF SA. He launched a wide range of derivatives, such as interest rate, equity index and commodity future and option contracts. He also managed projects aimed at improving trading and clearing systems.

From 1997 to the end of 1998, Jean-Michel, as Euro project manager, was responsible for the definition and the implementation of the Euro changeover for MATIF products and trading and clearing systems.
