The American Red Cross requires all volunteers to complete Introduction to Disaster Services Training, which is available as an online course. Volunteers may also elect to receive additional training in a specific group or activity of interest, including Disaster Relief Services, Community Relations, Family Relations, Call Center Operations, and First Aid. All volunteer training will be provided by local Red Cross Chapters. Interested volunteers should complete and submit the form below to be added to the ARC's database of volunteers. Individuals will be notified of training schedules and disaster relief deployment directly by their local Red Cross Chapter. Red Cross Chapters are distributed by Service Areas, and training schedules vary by chapter. |
