About the Presenter

Celia Bohannon joined ATA, took the certification exam, and began grading exams in 1981. Over the years, she has graded hundreds of exams and practice tests. Since 1997, she has coordinated and conducted the grader training sessions held at ATA’s Annual Conference and at the Language Chairs Annual Meeting. In recognition of her 25+ years of dedication to strengthening and enhancing ATA’s Certification Program, Celia was named an ATA Honorary Member in 2010. A freelance translator (CT German>English), she lives and works in the village of Saxtons River, Vermont.
