Sayed Ali, president and chief executive officer of Interpreters Unlimited, is the recipient of the Small Business Administration San Diego District Office’s 2019 Small Business Person of the Year Award. Ali has also been named by Ernst & Young as a finalist for the 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year Award in San Diego.

 Javier Castillo, Jr. has been elected president of Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters, an ATA Chapter.

Language Insight, Ltd., aU.K. language services provider, is the recipient of the 2019 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Language Insight, which marks its 10 anniversary this year, will celebrate its award during a royal reception for Queen’s Awards recipients at Buckingham Palace this summer.
