Amy Randles

Description

Upon returning to the U.S. after living in Germany, I earned a double major bachelor’s degree in Political Science and German from the University of Kansas, a law degree from the School of Law at the University of Michigan, and a master’s degree in German Studies from the University of Missouri. During my twelve year legal career, I worked extensively in the area of government regulation of the environment and became familiar with hazardous materials regulation and clean up, solid waste handling and permitting, storm water permitting and other clean water law compliance issues, and mining and land reclamation, among other things. My legal practice also encompassed state regulation of the telecommunications and utility industries. For the past ten years, I have taught German language and culture in both secondary and post-secondary educational institutions. When you work with me, you can expect careful attention to your specific translation needs, strict adherence to deadlines, precise grammatical usage, and language that is true to the original.
