CET Central European Translations was founded in 1994 as a network of translation offices in Central, Eastern and Western Europe. At present, we have offices in Germany, Hungary and Romania. For the last 10 years, our company has experienced a rapid growth and has become one of the market leaders in the region.

CET Central European Translations srl has the ISO 9001: 2008 certification for translation, interpretation and localization services. This certification shows CET’s determination to continue to improve its quality processes. Our translators and interpreters translate only into their native language, they have university degrees and a thorough education in languages, translations or their field of specialization. The consistency of a translation is ensured by the use of translation memory tools: our translators, both inhouse and freelance, are experienced in using all major translation software, including Trados (TRADOS 2014) and other translation memory tools.

Starting with 2010, CET Central European Translations srl is a member of SAP PartnerEdge for Language Service Partners and a preferred supplier for the language pair English-Romanian. This status certifies CET’s competence in software localization. The cooperation between CET and SAP Language Services started in 2004. In 2007, CET passed the certification procedure for SAP translation partners, which verified CET’s compliance of its technological and resource management process to SAP Language Services requirements.

Today, Central European Translations has more than 1000 satisfied clients, a team of 30 permanent employees, more than 6000 freelance translators and a complex sales and logistics infrastructure. CET is member in important translation associations, such as GALA (Globalization and Localization Association), ATA (American Translators Association) and AFIT (Association of Interpretation and Translation Companies in Romania).

Our goal is to support our clients in all aspects regarding Central and Eastern as well as Western European languages: translations of all types of documents, interpreting, interpreting of telephone conferences, Desk Top Publishing. Software and website localization is one of our topmost skills.
