Christopher Frye, native speaker of US English, and his wife, Rozilene, a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese have been a translating team for 11 years. Christopher has been certified by New York University in English to Portuguese Translation (Verified by ProZ),
certified by the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Editing for Translators, and certified by SDL in Trados 2011.
A maintenance and repair technician in the newspaper printing industry for 35 years,a union local vice-president, negotiating labor contracts and preparing arbitrations, Christopher has mechanical experience, and experience in the legal field. He has translated novels and textbooks from Portuguese to English. Rozilene is licensed to practice psychology in Brazil, has authored and published a book on psychological testing in Brazil, has eight years of experience working in the Brazilian court system, and six years of experience working in Brazilian hospitals, including three years as a psychologist working directly with neurological patients, so has experience in the Brazilian legal and medical systems.
