I'm a seasoned translator with a diverse skill set that encompasses translating, copywriting, copyediting, proofreading, machine translation post-editing, and quality assurance. A native Brazilian, my proficiency extends across Portuguese, English and Spanish, with native-level written and verbal communication skills, acquired through education and immersive experiences in their respective countries.

My journey in the realm of communication began with a B.A. in Communication Studies, majoring in Journalism, from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I further refined my skills through Vocational Studies in Translation & Culture at Senac-RJ, Rio de Janeiro. Embarking on graduate studies in Marketing at Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), Buenos Aires, Argentina, added another layer to my professional knowledge. My academic (and life) journey also includes a cultural exchange program at Baker City High School in Oregon, USA, during my junior year in 1996-1997, as well as several extension courses.

I take pride in featuring six translated books on my CV. Among them are original Portuguese productions rendered into English. My last two publications, introduced to the Brazilian market in 2022, mark the first-ever Portuguese translations of two finance classics. The first is the inaugural edition of "Trading Chaos: Applying Expert Techniques to Maximize Your Profits" by Bill Williams, originally released in 1995 in the USA. The second is "The Permanent Portfolio: Harry Browne's Long-Term Investment Strategy" by Craig Rowland and J. M. Lawson, published in 2012.

My multifaceted expertise extends to news reporting, PR, TV production, and TV/web content editing, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of various domains. This background in Journalism, encompassing both academic study and practical experience, greatly enhances my translation abilities. I believe this enables me to not only translate words, but also capture the nuances and context inherent in different types of content. Navigating through various aspects of media and communication has honed my ability to deliver precise and effective translations, tailored to specific contexts and audiences.
