My major at Amherst College was Spanish, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. I spent a summer in Mexico with the Experiment in International Living while in college, and a summer in Central America doing economic research while at Princeton working on my doctorate. Since 1988 I have worked exclusively with Mexican clients on investment matters, and from 1999 to 2001 I wrote and published a Spanish Language investment newsletter.
