I translate commercial, legal, technical, medical and marketing materials. My education consists of an B.A. Program in English Literature (including subjects on translation), Universidad de Valencia, Spain, 1992-1997. My experience as a translator started in 1991: part-time to 1998, full-time to present. In 1993: Six month internship in leading translation agency in Minneapolis, MN USA. Responsibilities included translating, proofreading and editing different kinds of materials. In 1996: Four month internship in translation firm in Boston, MA USA. Responsibilities included translating, proofreading and editing documentation from many industries; assisting with translation memory management and glossary development. I also have experience in voice-over.

Since January 2012, I work as a part-time in-house medical interpreter for the University of California Medical Center in Sacramento. Responsibilities include phone interpreting, video interpreting, home visits and in-person consecutive interpreting at the clinics and hospital.
