Recently returned to the US, I have been a freelance translator since 2013 and was certified by the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta (ATIA, affiliated with CTTIC) in 2021. I hold a PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and an MA in Classics from the University of Minnesota. I specialize in scholarly texts in the humanities, including articles, CVs, websites, as well as monographs (four published to date and two forthcoming). Beyond this primary area of expertise, I enjoy working with texts of various genres and pride myself on faithful translations that are clear and readable in English while reflecting the style of the original work.
