I am a native Italian Editor and Translator with 30 years of experience and specialized in the translation of Software, IT, Technical, and Business related materials. I have studied Linguistics at “La Sapienza” State University of Rome, held an in-house position as Italian Editor under Philips contract for 8 years, in The Netherlands, then became an entrepreneur in TV programs distribution and localization for the Italian territory and finally, in 2001, became a full-time freelance translator.

I regularly translate UIs, online help, documentation, and training materials for a wide range of software products and I am recurrently updating my translation for the new releases of several software packages working with direct clients as diverse as Graphisoft and Shape Services (including Autodesk for their first release of Revit) and final clients like Cisco Corp, LanDesk, IBM and many others.

I have accumulated abundant experience in several specialty fields including, among others, Consumer Products, Marketing, E-commerce (SEO included), Food and Beverages, Hospitality, Commercial Transport, Logistics, Packaging, Energy and Environment, IT, Telecommunications, Industrial, Construction and Agricultural Equipment, Machines, and Vehicles.

I also translate manuals, specifications and marketing materials, as well as legal, financial, and corporate documents, including patents, policies, procurement documents (RFP, RFI, RFQ, ecc.), tenders, and respective bids in many fields including, among others, mechatronics, constructions, industrial, agricultural, pharma, and medical devices. I regularly work for a major online catalog with products for the agriculture, landscaping, forestry, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering (OEM) industries, including a wide range of products going from vehicles to pieces, tools, technical installations, equipment, clothing, and toys. Other marketing projects completed include translations of billboards, websites, brochures, emails, whitepapers, press releases, and case studies.
