A native of Portugal, I was raised in a bilingual home and educated in the United State then went on to live in Brazil for many years, where I completed my studies and added "Brazilian" Portuguese to my translating/interpreting skills. I am fluent in Continental and Brazilian dialects (and accents, when called for) and specialize in Portuguese/English. For over 20 years I have specialized in Medical and scientific translations and conference interpreting. I also have a passion for literary translations, as I am also a published writer of fiction.
