Rachel Echeto
Description
I have worked as a full-time translator and interpreter since 2020, when I graduated with a master's degree in translation and interpretation (SpanishEnglish) from the Middlebury Institute of Internal Studies at Monterey. I have worked as an in-house translator, where I worked on texts in the pharmaceutical/medical, legal, commercial, and manufacturing fields, as well as journalistic texts and personal documents. I also served in editing and peer review roles for colleagues on my team. As a freelancer, I mainly provide translation, interpretation, and editing services, and my clients have included individuals, think tanks, and LSPs from throughout the US, Mexico, Switzerland, Colombia, and more. My current focus is on work in the fields of international development & diplomacy, human rights, and environmental sustainability, as well as translation of personal documents. When I'm not translating, you'll probably find me rock climbing, trying a new restaurant, or planning my next trip!
