Served as a Japanese interpreter at the joint training of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (IMEF) and the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) in San Diego, CA. Oversaw intensive in-class communications in which U.S. staff officers provided lectures and trainings relating to designing, formulating, and executing military operations.

Conducted extensive research and prepared reports (in Japanese) on the U.S. petroleum industry as part of a worldwide study commissioned by Sekiyu Sangyo Kassei Senta (PEC), the Japanese government-sponsored petroleum industry research institute.
Coordinated and oversaw teams on the translation of user manuals on various models of construction equipment for Komatsu America Corporation (Japanese construction equipment manufacturer).
Held titles of Teacher and Chief Program Coordinator at Chicago Futabakai Japanese School—taught Japanese high school students on subjects such as modern Japanese literature, writing, and social studies; developed curricula and assisted other teachers in course preparation.
