 Resolved communications issues (among technical advisers and engineers) between Hitachi America, Ltd. and Bechtel Construction during a major power plant project (Oak Creek, WI)‚Äîturned a six-month contract into a two-and-a-half year contract due to performance excellence.
 Served as a Japanese interpreter at the joint training of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (IMEF) and the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) in San Diego, CA. Oversaw intensive in-class communications in which U.S. staff officers provided lectures and trainings relating to designing, formulating, and executing military operations.
 Provided on-site interpretation/translation services to engineers and technicians that were dispatched from a company (AISIN Light Metals, LLC‚Äîautomotive parts maker)‚Äôs head office in Japan to set up a new production line. Also ensured a smooth transition from old leadership to new leadership while contributing to such areas as administration, accounting, purchasing, maintenance, and quality assurance.
 Provided on-site translating services to the Chicago branches of major Japanese banks, including Asahi Bank (now Resona Bank); Sakura Bank (now Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.), and Sanwa Bank (now Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ) for multiple years. Translated credit applications for corporate clients and other related matters for use by Federal and State examination officials.
 Translated Japanese documents for submission to courts at various law firms. Also translated many other forms of documents, including consultants‚Äô reports, business operations manuals, contractual agreements, patents, and webpages.
 Conducted extensive research and prepared reports (in Japanese) on the U.S. petroleum industry as part of a worldwide study commissioned by Sekiyu Sangyo Kassei Senta (PEC), the Japanese government-sponsored petroleum industry research institute.
 Coordinated and oversaw teams on the translation of user manuals on various models of construction equipment for Komatsu America Corporation (Japanese construction equipment manufacturer).
 Held titles of Teacher and Chief Program Coordinator at Chicago Futabakai Japanese School‚Äîtaught Japanese high school students on subjects such as modern Japanese literature, writing, and social studies; developed curricula and assisted other teachers in course preparation.
