Description

I studied linguistics at Humboldt University in Berlin/Germany (1983, graduate program with diploma and teacher's licence) and hold a Master of Science degree in Publishing from Pace University in New York City (2001). I have been a professional translator since 1988, first in Berlin, Germany, later for various translation agencies in New York City. I have translated for print and web publications (I am the principal translator for two publishing houses in NYC), for subtitles, and for voice-over recordings, and am well prepared for new challenges. In addition, I have a long experience as typesetter (DTP) in many European and Asian languages and work easily with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
