In Cuba, I attended a school with a thoroughly bilingual curriculum starting in kindergarten. Since 1980, I have been translating actively in various fields. Although retired from interpreting, I have been certified by the Administrative Office of the US Courts as an interpreter experienced in legal proceedings and conferences and I am at the Master Interpreter level in the Administrative Office of the New Jersey Courts. Among others, I have interpreted for President Evo Morales of Ecuador, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, the UN Secretary General, Latin American Heads of State, CEO's, etc. I have done voiceovers and have experience as a studio monitor.
