Qualifications: Ph.D. in German Studies from Washington University in St. Louis; MA in German and MA in Philosophy from WUStl; BA in German and BA in Music Theory from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Freelance translator of German to English since 1994.

Profile: I currently translate and edit/proofread as a freelancer for individual clients as well as a number of translation agencies in the USA and the EU. My current areas of focus are the Automotive Industry, Health Care & Pharmaceuticals, Legal, Software Localization and other technical areas such as general mechanical engineering and industry and technology.
