Description

With an enduring passion for languages, Luciane has transformed her enthusiasm into a distinguished career. Her journey began at the University of São Paulo (USP), followed by an immersive year and a half in Boston, where she enriched her English skills and cultural understanding through courses at Harvard University. Her pursuit of linguistic excellence continued after graduation with an intensive Italian course in Rimini, Italy, where she deepened her appreciation for Italian culture, history, and literature.

Luciane's dedication extends beyond her professional work. She authored "Lendas de Itapetininga e Região," a cultural book on regional legends published in March 2014, aimed at inspiring a love of reading among children in her hometown and cultural rescue initiatives.

Since 2007, Luciane has built a solid career as a Translator and, since 2011, as a Conference Interpreter. Her experience spans diverse fields including finance, cosmetics & healthcare, paper & pulp, and market research. She holds a degree in Portuguese/Italian from USP, a specialization in Translation and Interpretation (English/Portuguese) from Associação Alumni, and a graduate degree in Conference Interpreting from Estácio University.

In 2017, Luciane completed a rigorous year at Associação Alumni's Faculty of Translation and Interpretation, before embarking on the rewarding journey of motherhood. Her commitment to her profession is reflected in her continuous pursuit of advanced training, attendance at global conferences, and active involvement in organizing industry events.

More recently, she has ventured into a new niche: bilingual weddings. Working closely with a Wedding Celebrant, the duo delivers enchanting ceremonies in both Portuguese and English.

Luciane is dedicated to excellence in every aspect of her work, bringing precision, cultural insight, and emotions in every word translated.

A member of the Professional Association of Conference Interpreters (APIC) and the American Translators Association (ATA).
