I am a qualified and credential interpreter/translator who attended the interpretation/translation program at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 2001. Also, I took the State of Maryland court interpreter training program in November 2013. Now I am an eligible interpreter and planning to take the certification exam soon. My interpretation/translation career started in Cairo, Egypt in 1997 when I worked at the UNHCR office and the US Embassy in Cairo as a translator. When I came to America in 1998, I worked in the human service field, where I managed the cases of new immigrants. My job needed a lot interpretation/translation work to provide services to those new immigrants. After, I attended the State of Maryland court interpreting program in 2013, I interpreted both civil and criminal cases at courts in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. In addition to the legal cases, I interpreted/translated in the fields of business, medical, and others.
