Consent for the ATA Certification Exam Policy*

I have read, understand and agree to abide by the ATA CERTIFICATION EXAM POLICY. Click on the words ATA Certification Exam Policy to read the policy. Exams are subject to changes that may include postponement or cancellation. ATA will give a full refund if an exam is canceled or moved to a date you can't attend. ATA and the group hosting the exam are not responsible for any other expenses, including travel expenses that I may incur if my exam is canceled.

Consent that the exam is for experienced translators*

I understand that ATA Certification is for experienced translators to help them stand out among their peers. ATA Certification is not a gauge of basic language proficiency skills and it is not a certification intended for beginners to the profession.

Consent for the exam email policy*

I acknowledge that my exam results will be sent to the email address I specify as my primary contact with ATA when the results become available. If I choose to receive the results by regular mail, I understand that it is my responsibility to inform ATA Certification by contacting certification@atanet.org during the registration process. I am aware that this request requires confirmation, and I understand that postal delivery will take longer than electronic delivery.
