I am an independent contractor providing translation services from English into Amharic, from Amharic into English, from French into English and from French into Amharic. With over 15 years of experience as a translator, I fully grasp the critical importance of accuracy, timeliness, and reliability, and I am deeply conscious of the need for culturally sensitive translations. I take great pride and care in always providing high quality translations.


Over the years, I have worked on translation projects that span a wide range of subjects. Some of my past projects have included procedural guidelines for a State Department of Education, disease fact sheets for a State Department of Health, long term project for the U.S. Department of State, company and labor union pamphlets and materials, government health insurance programs and language proficiency test creation.


I also have experience with voice over projects in Amharic and transcription in French.


Aside from my professional experience, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Western Washington University.
