Alison Trujillo
Description
I've been a language professional for 20 years, first as a Spanish teacher and now as a Spanish-English translator. I bring a wealth of knowledge to my work and ensure that communications are clear and concise by paying special attention to important terminology and specific cultural references. As an active member of the American Translators Association, the Spanish Association of Translators, Editors and Interpreters, as well as state-level associations, I uphold the ethics and standards of the translation profession.
My translation work serves individuals and businesses in my local community as well as across the U.S. and in a number of Spanish-speaking countries. I specialize in education, health and wellness, agriculture/land use and land conservation, the arts, and legal documents.
My U.S.-based clients currently include institutions such as land stewardship and conservation groups, school districts, a large, state-run university, law firms, and leaders in the wine industry. International clients include a highly-respected quarterly arts publication, as well as a design studio and other small businesses.
