I am a certified California Court Interpreter in Cantonese and Mandarin and a U.S. State Department Foreign Language Officer. I am a native English and Chinese speaker who provides perfectly fluent interpreting and translation from Chinese to English and vice versa.
The Chinese languages I speak are Cantonese and Mandarin. I also write simplified and traditional Chinese.
I'll help you communicate with your clients and patients. I'll help you close the deal. I'll assist you in introductions, product presentations, and successful negotiations with your Chinese counterparts.
I use my 20+ years of experience as an award-winning journalist with major U.S. newspapers to serve my clients in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and beyond. My broad knowledge of American business, government, legal and immigration issues is instrumental in my ability to handle a wide variety of assignments.
I have also passed the California Court Interpreters' written examination with a 99% score. I graduated with honors from the University of Hong Kong, where I earned a B.S. in social sciences. I received an M.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, the nation's oldest journalism school. There, I graduated in the top 10% of my class, and is a member of the Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society.
