Experience: Over 20 years translation experience, most recently as the Language Access Manager responsible for translation and interpretation services at a Public Charter School with over 500 Spanish-Speaking families, with a strong focus on special education. I worked as an in-house translator and reviser for an international educational NGO for 4 years and as a full-time freelancer in the Washington DC area for 14 years. Previously,I translated and edited business stories for The Wall Street Journal Americas, worked as a radio reporter and producer for the BBC Spanish service in London, edited business features for Reforma, a Mexican daily and worked as a political reporter for El Espectador, a Colombian daily. I attended Oxford University as a journalism fellow.
