I have been a certified translator in Hungary since 1998. I hold a BFin and a BTh degree and specialize in finance, audits & certification, business, software localization, and Christian literature. I am a technically savvy translator, work on a regular basis with Trados/SDLX, memoQ, Across, Wordfast Classic/Pro (I am a registered Wordfast trainer), and can also do projects in some dedicated internal systems (Translation Workspace, AGITO, SAP, WordBee, etc.). I am a quick learner when a specialized piece of software is to be used. I pay much attention to details.



As a sworn interpreter, I’ve been interpreting at court and attorneys, doing simultaneous interpreting for seminars, conferences, and shows in front of audiences ranging from a handful of people to crowds of over 12,000. When interpreting, I follow the speaker not only in words but also in motion, gestures, and intonation. I have served on short-term mission trips to Hungary and Romania as interpreter, driver, and cultural advisor.
