Description

I am an Arabic to English legal translator specializing in corporate contracts and personal documents such as those required for immigration purposes. Other areas I have worked in include legislation, intragovernmental correspondence, appeals from users blocked from a leading social media platform, and product reviews.

I hold master's and bachelor's degrees in Near Eastern Languages / Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago, and I studied advanced Arabic at the American University in Cairo before working on the in-house legal translation team of a major Egyptian agency. My native language is English, and I only translate into English.

In my free time I enjoy reading (in English and Arabic), knitting, cooking, and designing my own planners.

I am now based in Chicago (GMT-6) and work full-time as a freelancer. I look forward to hearing more about your project and how I can help!
