Description

I started out as a Korean-English translator nearly 20 years ago after some volunteer work in Asia. During my university years I continued to study Korean while translating generalist material.

I stuck with the language track and after graduating with a degree in Political Science and Economics I continued translating.

After that I spent 10 full years translating legal documents for Korean law firms and their American and Canadian counterparts.

Most recently, I've shifted to my ultimate niche focusing on two technical fields: 1) mobile phone and computing patents and 2) hospital medical records and pharmaceutical documents.

Also, it's worth mentioning that I can read handwritten Hanja characters (Chinese characters used in older or technical Korean documents).
