• Certified by the American Translators Association (ATA) for both Spanish to English and Portuguese to English translation
• Presenter on translation issues like back translation, celiac disease, and HIPAA compliance
• Current chair of ATA’s Business Practices Education Committee, which gives ATA members information they need to run successful language service businesses

• Author of a series of articles on HIPAA compliance for medical translators
