I have a BA in French and English (Creative Writing) from the University of Denver and a PhD in European and Global History from Rutgers University (2011). I am a specialist in the history of the modern French empire and North African history. I have published two books in English on the history of the French empire as well as multiple articles in both French and English. I have worked a professor of French history since 2011 and volunteer as an interpreter/translator for a refugee placement service in Tampa, Florida.
I specialize in academic translation from French to English in the social sciences, humanities, and the arts as well as literary translation.
