Born and raised in Vietnam, Duong Vu Andrews is a native Vietnamese speaker. She always embraces and values her cultural roots while taking pride in being an American citizen.

She is the first Vietnamese interpreter in the Southern United States who is holding below concurrent certifications:

1) Certified Vietnamese Interpreter with the National Board of Certification of Medical Interpreters (NBCMI).

2) Certified Vietnamese Interpreter with the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI)-Performance Tier, Pioneer Group.

3) Licensed Court Interpreter

Duong is committed to facilitating clear, reliable, and effective communication at reasonable rates while prioritizing utmost customer satisfaction. She is an active member of ATA and NAJIT.

Duong earned her B. A. from Ha Noi University (HANU) in 2010 (Major: Finance & Banking, Minor: English). This institution, which was named after the capital of Vietnam, renowns for its foreign language training and research specialization (formerly known as Hanoi University of Foreign Studies).

In 2017, she embarked on a journey with Language Line Solutions (LLS), the world's largest interpretation services provider (28,000+ clients). It was a linguistic cradle for Duong to get professional training in various sectors: public, private, and non-profit. She was quickly promoted to the highest interpreting level (L5) to serve nationwide courts, healthcare providers, USCIS & FEMA in the US (granted a security clearance) and the Home Office in the UK.

Beside holding Federal Medical Interpreting Certifications, Duong is also a Licensed Court Interpreter. With her competitive advantage in medical interpreting and immigrant background, Duong specializes in the legal cases; particularly those related to wrongful deaths, personal injury, medical experts' testimonies, Worker's Compensation, and immigration.

She is also experienced in escort/simultaneous interpreting projects for the Vice Minister, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation and other international training organizations and corporations.
