Description
Certified Court Interpreter in Colorado and California, Registered Federal Court Interpreter, ATA-credentialed translator, and experienced U.S. Immigration Court Interpreter with the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (DOJ EOIR).
With over 20 years of professional experience in interpreting, translation, linguistics, and foreign-language education, I specialize in Russian-English language services for legal and judicial matters. My services include court and legal interpreting, certified translation of legal and official documents, and transcription and translation of audio and video recordings for litigation and evidentiary purposes.
I also provide expert witness services involving Russian-language interpretation, translation, transcription, and linguistic analysis, including independent review and evaluation of translated and transcribed materials.
Prior to my work in the courts, I served as an Assistant Professor of Russian at the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where I taught Russian to Department of Defense service members.
My professional practice is grounded in accuracy, impartiality, confidentiality, and adherence to the ethical standards governing court interpreters and professional translators. I am available for in-person and remote assignments, including court proceedings, depositions, attorney-client meetings, document translation, transcription/translation projects, and expert witness engagements.
