Karin Millett
Description
My first career track was as a technical translator for AEG Telefunken in Germany (in the 70s), where I translated mainly electro-technology texts and manuals, as well as legal contracts. I changed to economics early on and spent a large part of my career at the World Bank (where I was a Director), working on developing country economies, including political and regulatory reforms, trade, finance, banking, political risk insurance and mining and energy.
